Amazing (and pleasing!) to know that Rowrbrazzle is still going! I recently saw an issue or 2 at  Comus' apartment.

I think there's been over 170 issues/quarterly mailings.

The new workshop kinda sucks, I think. Instead of being a dingy shed full of widgets and gadgets where Doc workds, it's a well-lit, modernized rental space for a graduate student working her way through a degree, and brimming with enthusiasm for saving the world from environmental degradation! Gimme an effin' break! But, then, I'm convinced that the new Fraggle Rock is demonstrably inferior to the original.

Like they ruined the Muppets they will do the same to Fraggile Rock.

Have you seen what the new show did to the Gorg's castle? The original castle was fallen into ruin, a shell of the former splendor of the Gorg kingdom. It was broken down and the people in it scarcely any better off than peasant farmers with delusions of glory. The new castle looks like a Hobbit cottage, all neat and tidy, with picturesque windows and flower arrangements, no sense of decay or (so far) or Gorgish hubris. What the hell are the writers thinking? Several of the original actors are involved in the relaunch ... you'd think they would set these idiots straight, but if they have any influence on the show, they aren't showing it.
