It was late into Sunday morning. Mrs. Fox was still in bed. She had worked a long week at her job. It felt good to get some extra rest before returning to her job on Monday.

She heard commotion coming downstairs in the kitchen. Even though it didn't bother her that much, she still wondered what the racket was all about.

Moments later, she heard footsteps approaching and the door opened. Remy and his father stepped in.

"Happy Mother's Day!" the cried in unison.

Mrs. Fox sprang up in bed. She saw her son with a large plate of pancakes reaching out to her. And her husband holding a piping hot cup of coffee.

"Oh!" her face lit up in utter delight. "How very thoughtful of you two!" Thank you both very much!"
