The view out the window never changed. For years Ellie had served on the train traveling across the surface of the frozen wasteland. Searching for supplies and answers the train had explored the vast expanse for the thing that had frozen the world. Evading deadly storms, hostile raiders, and everything in between, she had never failed in her perpetual quest to protect the secret of the Garden and to lead the team in its search for the origins of the Freeze.

The leader of the expeditionary team, Ellie's quarters were one of the larger units, with only the captain's being bigger. Originally designed as a luxury vehicle, the train had a number of embellishments and creature comforts built into it which came in handy on those long tours of duty.

Keeping her personal space relatively spartan, Ellie remained ready for duty at any moment.
