So here's the final product of the last two week's labor. Despite the slew of Cheshire Cat merchandise that entered Hot Topic following the movie's release, there didn't seem to be any nice statuettes like I'd hoped. So I made one.

He's just under 4 inches long, made with super sculpey over aluminum foil, acrylic paint and some clear nail varnish as glaze on his eyes, nose and teeth. All carving and fur detail was done with a sewing pin.

His teeth actually glow in the dark, but it wouldn't show up in a photo. =P He's also darker and more detailed than he looks here. I really wish I had a better camera! Maybe I'll take some more photos outside when there isn't so much snow.
