When the original Super Smash Bros came out on the N64, I had not played Pokémon ever. Back then I assumed it was just a popular fad that would come and go pretty quickly. So when the Koffing would show up on Smash Bros. I had no idea what it was or what it was saying, but it sounded like it was saying "COFFEEEEEEE" to me. And that made no sense given the fact that it looked like a purple golf ball with a toxic symbol on it that would puff smoke what chanting about coffee. It didn't really do much for my perception of Pokémon,

Yeah, I had no Idea what a few of the Godzilla characters were when I played Destroy All Monsters on the GCN...then I started watching and collecting the movies. XD
