Ever since 2015, when I created the original concept art for Dash, I haven't published a single traditional-type piece of her. (Unless we count Dash's plush version.) So we can all agree it was time to remedy this problem. And thanks to one of my good friends on DeviantArt, I found the perfect artist for the job: LiaAqila. I've been following her for quite a while mainly because of her MLP-related pictures. I already wanted to commission her back in 2022, only to miss it then. But then, in 2023, we got this adorable picture of Dash for all of you to enjoy. ^^
As usual, I requested some changes in the sketch phase, but LiaAqila was always kind enough to make those modifications for me - often at short notice. Each time the sketch became better and better, making me have an even bigger smile. And when I got the final result, you can imagine how great I felt. I mean look at it; every single detail you see there actually exists! It's not just a file saved to a hard drive or the cloud, but a true traditional art piece. This makes this image even more special than anything I had before. (No offense to everyone I commissioned so far. ^^; ) I don't care that it has minor mistakes; this picture is the prime example of hard, dedicated work that pays off a good way. Something that AI will never be able to do no matter how much the AI bros want it.
