yeah, they redid or are still redoing the anime right now, it's going under the name Bio Boosted, I here it's following the original story more closely. The live action movies which were, I think, directed or produced by Saban (guy who did the american version of power rangers) I believe; the first one seemed more like a comedy than a sci-fi action movie, the second one was actually pretty cool IMO. the monster sound effects might produce a chuckle or 2 though >.>

i really like this picture (i'm pleased someone else, mentioned that it was reminiscent of the guyver) i way it looks like the transformation is flowing over him, and the impression of organic plating covering some sort of glistening integument is beautiful

the way the two horns on his left forearm appear to be... i don't know, seeping into existence (i've never known how to describe that effect) is also super-cool

his finial look will look a bit different in the end.. i gotta draw this over again... im keeping the organic look to set off the two sides of him (one looking more machines and built, the other organic and grown)
