Andree was once a mistwalker, a guardian of a village whose name she has long since forgotten. Lost in the mists for centuries, she finally emerged as a diminutive Kriores goblin. Finding the world dramatically changed since she thinks she left it, she makes the acquaintance of the traveling tinkerer and ragpicker, Jean. The two visit a nearby tavern, where Andree starts to remark on her new perspective.

Also considering the possibility he is related to an old childhood friend of hers before becoming both a woman and guardian of the village thinking like a great grandson or something so he only at best has second hand accounts of the village from that time told to him by his grandparents or a journal from them
