Here's one of my main OC's (my psychological id actualy XD) And this is one of the few pics that I'm really proud of. I did it by myself too x3
ame: Vergil Redgrave
Nocknames: Aokira no Vergil, Gilver, El Azul Muerto (interesting trip south of the border caused this)
Species: Raccoon dog , Shinigami-Mortal hybrid
Age: In Upperworld years, undecided and forgotten. In shinigami years, now 668 as of October 13th
Height: 6’2
Weight: maybe around 169 lbs.
Relationship Status: Taken
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Known Relatives: Dante Redgrave (older twin brother), R Redgrave (father), Gina Reive (mother), Ravager Redgrave (adopted son), Jazz Redgrave (nephew), Onyx (sister-in-law)
Overall personality: Vergil’s can be seen as cold, uncaring, and an absolute bastard at first glance…well, that’s part of who he is actually ^^; But he’s also a friendly and reliable person if he decised he want to be. As of late, he’s become pretty laid back, and he’s a lot more trusting to people thanks to recent experiences. And very random times, he’s shown to be very compassionate, one case in which he apologized to Jabber when he scared him (though he made sure no one else was around to hear it >3>). He has a lot of vices though, but I don’t wanna bore you.
Place of Residence: Varies between his HQ in Nel, his mate’s, Phoenyx, HQ, and his brother’s house.
Likes: Phoenyx (obviously x3), violence, night, the cold, snowboarding, winter in general, playing his guitar, reading, (surprisingly) taking care of children.
Dislikes: Extreme heat (makes him weak and a bit crazy), not being paid for his work, almost everyone, people who try to touch his guitar. HATES: Michael (although he’s developing a grudging respect for him) , Rush, Lucifer, his brother (sibling rivalry thing.), and others that I can’t remember atm.
Quirks: He’s a sociopath. Cold, cruel, has a short temper, and he’s known to just abandon all morals at times and simply kill without ANY remorse whatsoever.
Aspect of death: (every shinigami has an aspect that defines him as a whole) Destruction.
Elemental attributes: Darkness, with some control over ice.
Abilities: Vergil is one of the few shinigami who have the rare ability to create, control, and manipulate darkness in its purest and most powerful form. As such, he’s able to make dark bolts, energy blades, and various other abilities, including infusing darkness with some elements, making attacks such as dark lightning and his special brand of black ice.
Weapons: His main weapon is a large sword/chainsaw hybrid about as tall as him named “Vice”. It was the first and only sword Dante modified for him that he can push to the complete physical limits and beyond AND channel his darkness energies through without it breaking. He has a secondary weapon “Cerberus”, a unique type of nunchucks that is actually his guardian A.C. in weapon form. It’s three ice rods that are joined by a large metal ring, and it retains the ice powers that it’s animal form controls. He’s also known to use a variety of firearms, but he favors handguns for their accuracy and comfort.
Brief History: Vergil Redgrave was surprisingly a shy and reserved kid in the first few years of his life, usually not speaking to anyone outside of his family, hiding behind either his father or his brother, and when he does speak, he was nervous and hardly made eye contact, so e was labeled by many as ‘fragile’. However, when he was five, a bunch of bullies were attacking Dante, almost killing him, and long story short, the rage Vergil felt brought out his darkness powers and he committed his first murder. Since then, Vergil gradually became bolder and more confident with himself, causing as much trouble as his brother in a matter of weeks…then the eternal mortal combat that is sibling rivalry came into being when Dante’s time powers manifested. You would’ve thought they were sworn enemies by how brutal the fights became as time went on. But after the numerous times they got in trouble, where Dante and Vergil hospitalized and even mortally wounded many students and teachers at their school when they were 10, it was the last straw for R, and he took them to Nel, the shinigami world, to complete their education and turn them into proper and effective shinigami at the most (or at least able to fend for themselves). They were hated from day one due to the fact that they were half-breed shinigami AND for the fact that they had the thing that pure-blooded shinigami longed for the most: life. Vergil became one of the most effective shinigami-in-training at the time, but his penchant for disobeying orders, disrespecting the superiors that e didn’t feel earned respect (almost all of them), and his constant violent streaks, made him the lowest in rank along with his brother. Somewhere during this time, Vergil had a brief, yet violent encounter with a raccoon dog who looked like him in his mindscape, but he brushed off the memory after the incident. Finally, they decided they had enough and rampaged the shinigami capital and caused a shit-load of damage before disappearing to the other side of Nel, “the Forgotten Hemisphere”. While Dante eventually left for the mortal world, Vergil stayed behind and started making a home for himself. He even fought and tamed a Cerberus he fondly named A.C. Eventually though, he too went back to the mortal world to make some sort of stamp on his existence. He became a mercenary of sorts, doing jobs that most people would never take. On one such mission, he came across an orphan named Ravager. And through a bit of a misadventure of helping each other out, he took the orphan under his wing. Now fast forward to about fourteen plus years later, he’s still a merc, a lot of people hate him, and he’s still raising hell.

:bulletblue: He LOOOVES anything strawberry related.
:bulletblue: As a child, he had a teddy bear he always carried around with him named Deady. It was possessed by an evil entity that killed for enjoyment, but strangely took a liking to Vergil. (But it made nights for Dante a living hell XD) No one knows hwat happened to him though…
:bulletblue: When he gets angry, and I mean unspeakably consumed by rage, he stargely looks calm, an almost bored frown crossing his face, the only thing betraying the immense fury he’s feeling being his eyes, which are glrowing a dark blue color and the whites slowly being consumed by black. If he’s ever, EVER, like this, run. I can’t stress that anymore.
