Vsevolod, Prince of Flame (Art by Mitsene)
If you've been paying attention to my viking character, Bjorn, you'll remember that he's on a journey across Europe between the land of the living and the land of the dead to stop a demon-infested Russian king responsible for this mess.
This is that king.
This is currently a concept sketch; if redrawn he'll probably be a bit bulkier, but otherwise it's rather spot-on.
Vsevolod alternates between three personalities. The first and most common is his 'smug' form, as seen here; this is the demon infesting his body, whose name is unknown and shall not be uttered. It burns his face with a crown of fire; it peers through soulless eyes without pupil or mercy; it ruins the lands the fool human worked hard to unite and serve. The second personality is utter bestial demonic rage; a hunched over spittle-flinging madman whose body is ravaged by a hoard of demon minion-lords. Expect brutality, body contortions, wall-climbing and other possessed traits to occur.
And the third personality is the poor man himself: a broken and permanently terrified once-man who can barely muster up the courage to speak for fear of any other demons hearing him.
One does not tamper with black magic so easily and expect to walk away freely, O' Prince.
