Well, it has been about five years since, and our thief has gotten fully comfortable being a leech vampire monster. At first he hated it. Then he got used to it. Now it's just who he is.

He has been feeding on the criminals in his area, which has drastically reduced the crime rate. As you can see, he is quite content at the moment. He is enjoying the cool feeling of his slimy skin, and reading his Dostoevsky book with his many eyes. And you get used to the constant drooling after a while. And you even get to have conversations with the mouths in your hands!

Sometimes, you just gotta relax and be a leech monster. So go with it.
