It's a dry night in alternate-reality Seattle; in his line of work, this is never a good sign. A calm before the storm; a fleeting moment of brief peace before something terrible crashes down on the urban shores of the city. Some men have gone to their homes; possibly to their families. Others bury themselves in their work, riding the pulse of information and here-say with ravenous intent. As for Mr. Ward? It's hard to say, really; perhaps he's signing off on some new rookie's paperwork. It could be a release form; a letter from home; a dangerously important medical order. In either case, Kennedy takes it in stride. After all, it's just paperwork. Tomorrow's gonna be a bigger day, right?
