Dimitri's joined a crew of space pirates as they cruise through the cosmos! They've already found some long-lost treasures on a forgotten planet, and are celebrating as only a close-knit space crew can: a rowdy deck party! He and his fellow raptor friend Zharru have taken to one of the lines stretching across the masts of their glorious ship the Archaeopteryx (nicknamed 'Archie' for everyone's sanity), surveying the various activities of his crewmates below. Toward the bow and scattered throughout, small piles of their loot shimmer in the colorful glow of the nebula; on the main deck, cliques of his smartly-dressed cohorts mill about, talking, laughing, singing, roughhousing, and drinking fine ales. In the background flies the ship's bodyguard and muscle, a great dragon-beast of the void; a bold wolf riding a solar surfer joins her as they sail by giant swirls of ghostly gasses. The captain(s) relax at the center table, recounting stories of their conquests among themselves and any who care to listen.

The festivities are slowing, but still buzzing with energy! Accordion music echoes heartily through the air, accompanied by many a (drunken, out-of-tune) voice. One of the crazier hands is showing off her dagger-tossing skills for a pair of officers and a warrior. Several members are settling down into stargazing and tinkering, and several have already gone below decks for shut-eye, or whatever it is they want to do after a party ;). Elsewhere, navigation to their next destination has already begun! Holo-maps and star charts glow, eyepieces gleam, and arguments over "this route" and "that obstacle" can be heard even from his height as coordinates are programmed into the system. Even now, the ship's engineering crew continues their tireless work cleaning, repairing, and preparing various systems for the next encounter--one triple-checks the arms and canons for imperfections, and another clings perilously to the sleek metal shell of an engine, baffled by a small billow of smoke emanating from an open wiring panel even as its thrusters hum along smoothly beside her.

All-in-all, Dimitri couldn't be more satisfied with where he'd ended up. He knew everyone below had his back, and he had theirs. The next adventure was sure to hold more excitement, discovery, loot, and trouble--but that was no trouble at all with a crew like this.
