aww -hugs- my first guinea pig i got in high school from my science teacher his name was gibblet and he looked like a walking mohawk and he had this sasuke thing from naruto where is hair on his head was all emoish and hung in his eyes he lived to be 8. hmmm, well if you kept her in cedar or wood shavings that wasnt low dust she may have had an upper respitory infection and vitamin c drops taste nasty and some guineas wont drink alot of water if they can taste it.
maybe this link will help you, its what i use for my guinea education needs.
when i got my first guinea and he got sick in his eighth year of life on new years eve i couldnt find a vet for him open since guinea pigs require a exotic vet and finding an exotic vet on new years eve was really hard and they couldnt help him cause they said it was just his time...
they were very surprised when i told them how he was bathed and blowdried once a week, and never stayed in cedar a day in his life.
