Yes, that I know. I also thought of a version that instead of filling with air, the impact with the body causes a chemical reaction that causes the sticky blob to fill with a sticky liquid. As the blob expands it's surface is stressed and it pops dumping/spreading black liquid sticky blob all over the intruder.
