Don’t smoke, create Art!

Saw an add for cigs while buying energy drinks and realized just how interesting this bit of an add was, the graphic designer they tasked with adding this visual in really overdid themselves and I decided to take a photo, edit it and then ask my dear 
VilepossJoey to crop the interesting part out to put more eyes on it. It was not composed by me but I think the photo and then the cropped version of it you see here can be considered a work of mine and my bf’s so here we are. If it was possible to find who created this visual in the first place I would have gladly credited the artist but oh well, some adds just do not care to credit people they profit from so I am in the blind here.
In better news tho, this cropping my boyfriend provided can actually be used as a structural visual element rather than just a background, like an actual transparent detail acting as a negative space inside the work or even straight up just a part like any other in the drawing and not around it. I will totally experiment with this idea later and it is baffling I have not seen anyone do that before.
