teenage schlatt and wilbur are besties! schlatt brings him and sally to a club called halfmoon! wilbur loves attention and friendship and gets really fuckin into it! gets the nickname day hooker! and there is a brief mention of him joining a drag show so naturally i had to do an entire finished illustration for it where i completely made up an outfit!
listen. this era of orphan's path is my FAVORITE. it's only two books in the series but theyre the ones i re-read the most often. i love wilbur's childhood and his teenage years. he's a disaster. he starts a riot and kinda-sorta invokes techno's god powers for protective strength. he is hopelessly in love with sally. he didnt have anything nearing a dress sense until schlatt dragged him through a clothing store so he'd stop looking like a grandma.
