Once again, a poor fellow has been struck by a petrification rune. This time it is a Jidaan, an aquatic species of people populating the oceans and various cities around the world. They can breathe without any problem on land, but they are much more proficient in underwater environnements. Although this one might not accomplish much if we throw him in a body of water...
I think this one is way better than my first drawing ! Still starting on drawing tablets but I'm much more satisfied with the lighting and lines. Overall, I'd say this is much more close to the way I draw on paper ^^

Heeeyyyy that was quick, good to see more from you already and nice another species has been introduced and promptly reduced to a display piece.
Again I love the pose and the facial expression and how it differs from the Aviès statue, seems the Hinèl might be more resilient and or show off more of their physical strong base. The flex is nice touch as if he noticed and tried to fight it.
And you're so right on it being an improvement, nice looking lines too much more solid and defined and shows the muscles off. and that shading too well done!
Keep at it! :D
