I've always liked chimeras. They are the queintessential mythological monster in that they combine so many creatures in such an implausible way. The word "chimera" is still often used to describe something that has features of more than one type of creature.
This chimera is the dungeons and dragons version which used the dragon instead of a serpent and had all three heads up front with the other parts kind of equally divided. The classic greek version I always found kind of odd as far as the placement of the heads and I've seen other variations on this monster as well.
Actually, working on this gave me some ideas for other characters but they'll have to wait a while.

Random fact: Apprently there are human "Chimeras". They are called such because different parts of their bodies can have different DNA from each other. Its a rather rare condition. That said, she/they are smexy. :3 Though it looks to me that dragoness has designs on the lioness. X3
