Vinny wanted to join the mafia, but he wasn't made because his little t-rex arms had no hands, which really puts a damper on crime activity. A couple of bosses were intially interested, given that he's the freakin' Jersey Devil, but then they realized that a bipedal winged horse wasn't really so scary. So Vinny flew back to the Pine Barrens, where he occasionally attempts to extort the local deer population and mopes.
