*smiles* Pretty awesome creature. I really like the design of it, with the details having come out really nice. Are those clawed tentacles also mouths?
You also have some nice effects with the breaking waves in the background. And of course, dripping slime is always a plus.
Though it's a bit difficult to see what's happening to the dog. Is it melting into slime or just stuck in it?
The effect looks really cool, but I'm simply not sure what's happening.

naw the tentacle claws are were slime shoots out from and the its just to trap things. i didnt think of acidic slime though XD. and thanks i thought the waves turned out nice too, i acually started expecting them to not turn out so good but they worked out anyways.
never really kept in mind though how other people are gonna see whats going on. seems to make since in my head but i guess that only works for me XD

Heh. I like that feature of slime shooting out to trap prey. Sticky slime is much better than acidic slime. After all, you want the victim to still be alive and struggling once those tentacles grab hold. :)
Now you have me interested in getting a 2-part commission with this creature and my coyote character.
Part one showing the slime shooting out and trapping him, and part two with the octopus enjoying the meal he caught. :)
