A sangheili colony, one of many discreetly established outside of Thordonian space. Outside of the jurisdiction, influence, and restrictive laws, but also outside of their protective sphere.

They have fallen into the hands of yet another advanced civilization, the CIS.

Within the span of roughly 15 hours, the Confederacy brought down their biomechanical droid ships and landing craft, taking over the sangheili appointed government and all of its assets to their own use. There wasn't even much of a fight with the colony's small fleet of warships, the majority of which were zanar-pattern light cruisers outfitted for law enforcement.

The mayor of the colony's capital city kept her rank to the end that she would carry out the commands of the central intelligence. Hence, the colony's inhabitants were now once again back under the oppression of occupation.

But the CIS were new to them. They knew the Thordonians were trying to promote development, but they didn't have the slightest of a clue of the intentions of the Confederacy. It terrified them.
