Longer does work well for her.

This may be personal bias but I do like the longer hair on her.

Yeah I like the shorter... but I can't really use it now with tilven lol we did a new version with even longer hair on her which looks interesting. Still ironing out details.

I mean, is there really any "rule" anywhere that says different characters (particularly in entirely different "universes") can't have the same/similar hair styles? Maybe it's just me but looking at the two there I don't see "the same hairstyle," unless "medium-short and slightly messy" is an entire style. I don't see how they're all that much "the same," personally. Merah has an overall much "cleaner/well kept" look to hers, and thicker/more uniform bangs while Tilven has more of a "just woke up and shook it out" kind of look to hers. Not full-on "bed-head" but certainly more "wild" than Merah's.

It could be possible "artist's anxiety" is at play. I know worrying "all my characters will look the same" is fairly common among artists but I wouldn't worry about that here.

Personal reasons, eh?

at any rate, she's good lookin with long hair.
