Could it be that fahrook is just playing along as to not show his real strenght?
There is also this other thing where I thought the transporter were locked...
As for Lorrelly, me think that she either playing along for the time being but still on the good side or it's not Lorelly that we are seeing.

Of course, has to, otherwise it would be the bad guy win and the good ones loses.
I'm more curious about the failure mode. We already know that Fahrook when he wants it can be very powerful, however, for reasons that escape me, he often let go. Maybe it's part of a greater plan, who knows.
There is also the transporter that has been quite tempered with. So will it do what Sisari expect? So the transporter might be the linchpin which unravels her plans, thus why Fahrook lets things go to make it appear that she is in total control and forget that the transporter might be her down fall.
Finally, there is Lorelly... She had on more than one occasion thwarted the plans of the evil sides. Sometime knowingly and sometime not knowingly and cause by her little streak of greed and/or antics. At least that is what she is showing to everyone involved. She shows that Lorelly is only working for Lorelly, but is she really?? That is the question. There is also this one place where she tells Andimion that the art does not work on her. In other words, she cannot be possessed and always acting on her own will. And that brings us to the Lorelly that we are seeing. The way she acts is not characteristic of Loreli. For example, she just does not care that people are being mauled with their heads being torn off right in front of her which is very uncharacteristic of her. Yes, she does have this little greed problem but she is not evil and does not like seeing evil things as shown in The Black Taspistry. So the real question that comes to mind, are all those characters that represent Lorelli, and the other that seems to possess are really the real ones that are being control or Sisari in disguise playing them?....
As for Sisari we all know that she is power hungry, so much so that it does cloud her judgment. As proof the ease that Gruff had in luring her to a long trip across the universe in his pursuit, while in her anger she was losing sight of what was happening on their own planet. In the end it seem that he let himself be caught but secretly kept his power will he kept doing what he loves the most, talking to people, especially out-worlder while supposedly being a prisoner to his tavern. However we find out along the way that he is not a prisoner to that place and can in fact travel at will like to the transporter room.
In conclusion, I'm very curious as to what of those failure scenarios the author chooses or throw a new one that takes us by surprise from the left field.
My take is the new scenario is one that nobody expects. They have been very good at coming up with those kinds of stories follow through. As such the Black Tapistry comes to mind. Just hope that one day, they continue on that front.

The terminology is the important oart. It comes from TV Tropes.
A 'Batman Gambit' is any plan where success depends on people doing exactly what you expect them to - in other words, manipulating them into doing precisely what you want because they can't help it.
A 'Xanatos Gambit' (named after the antagonist of Gargoyles) is any situation engineered so that whatever happens, any possible outcome benefits you, even if you supposedly 'lose'. It can be screwed up if, somehow, there's a piece of data or a possibility you've overlooked that becomes important.
Now, where have we seen that happen fairly recently?
