I know pretty much only about some of the movies myself. Episode IV-VI and I I still remember watching more than once. I did watch a few of the others and know that there are lots of books, animated shows and whatnot but I honestly was never hugely into Sci-Fi so those things often got past me somehow.
If one poked at me asking for my favorite Star Wars character, I'd likely say R2D2. That little robot (or droid how I think they call them) I found always charming in some way. Definitely would be on a potential costume-Shiny-as-that-character list. X3
