With Ereshkigal's species, there are variations that adapt and evolve with their climate. This member of the plant-based kaiju has evolved in the harsh and dangerous desert, earning the nickname "Desert Bane". Compared to the other members, Bane is far more aggressive and armed for combat against humans and other kaiju. In her territory, she is deemed as both judge and executioner; pass her land with no foul intent and she'll let you pass with no issue but pass with the intention to cause harm and you'll be added to the collection of lost souls she has claimed for years.

In rare cases, she has shown a merciful side to those who are lost and close to death. An interesting feature with Bane's design is that she sports an insectoid-like body, possibly to continue moving around the desert and burrow better through the sands.
