Hey all, this is Vera again, it's been almost a month since RandomOnlooker passed away...
I thought about it for a long time, and since this site was fairly important to him, I thought it would be nice to start uploading more of his work here. First, I would like to put up a small tribute on my part.
I don't know, nothing will ever do him justice, apart from something he helped create, so there is a little background to this piece. Years ago I had to take a piano proficiency exam at the conservatory and I have to admit that I was not doing very well as I spent all my time on the violin, so eight months prior, Random came to me with a wild proposition, to play Liszt's Sonata in B minor, I thought he was crazy, but I did want to show the professors that I was no greenhorn at the piano. For those eight months, he would often sit with me for even four hours a day on the piano, teaching me all the techniques, fingerings and performance nuances needed to play this piece well... I will never forget those times, he was insanely busy himself and still he managed to dedicate so much of his time to me... The day I passed that exam (with honors, thanks to Random) I swore that I would never play this piece again as it was just too much... well, if he can hear me, or even if he can't, unbeknown to him, I never stopped playing it, I couldn't just throw away all that time he spent on me. So for helping me in this, and pretty much with everything else in my life, just like the music he taught me, I will never forget him. This is played on the piano of the house where he died... I think it was his favourite one.
I hope you enjoy it.

So beautiful... And those birds, a very familiar sound to those who have followed him since he started using this account, now, almost haunting.
I'm listening to the second and third parts now, it's no wonder you passed with honors! I really hope I can get to this level one day, though I am a singer primarily, and have only been playing the piano 'seriously' for about 2 years (since I was 17).
