Still need refining, but seviryane is a race endemic to Sevir, Nessel's planet. Once a developed pre-space faring civilization much like humanity nowadays, the seviryane were tunnel-dvwelling crustaceans who, sadly, found out about nuclear bombs before nuclear power. A very tense political situation was resolved in atomic fire, sending what little was left of their folk back into the tribal age.
