I really love vintage Halloween decorations. I'm particularly fond of vintage paper and cardboard cut-out ones. They were so much more charming and festive than the nasty, cheap, blood-and-latex-encrusted decorations you see today. As much as I love gore, I miss when Halloween decorations were less about being ~scary~ (or trying to be, anyway) and were just pure FUN.

Vintage Halloween swag usually has a limited color palette of green, orange, black, white, and sometimes yellow. I just love how simple and eye-catching they are. So... here's my take on it. I plan on doing more of these, this was so fun and felt very "me."

And because it's me, we have a croc mummy and black pythons to replace your traditional witch and black cats. Oh, and the croc was inspired by this little guy.
