Well.. that took a while. This is part of a project I am working on with
rangarig.
An injector gun developed by Rayverak's cover company COLE Industries. It uses vials of a special type of nanites, also developed by Rayverak.. heh.. heheh.. muhahahah. `xvxxvx´
I am not a gun specialist, so this may seem a bit rough, but it will do.
EDIT: Edited in a trigger guard shown only in the top left.

It looks like it still needs something to lock it in, that's my point. It looks like it's just sitting there. So a measure to keep it in place I think would be needed, and to unlatch it. Just pulling back the slide works but with a open air canister that's a tad unsafe, that's how I see it at least :P
Naa.. the left end is only connected electronically and the right end has a seal that needs to be pushed in in order to open, it will just seal back up when you pull it out. And it can't be pulled out until you pull back the slide. The slide would be locked during injection.
Very true. More a precaution of preventing accidental discharge in general. I have this feeling that even if nobody got hurt by it, a trigger pull's worth of special nanites being wasted wouldn't be desirable. I remain, actually, quite surprised at the size of that vial. It's... Big.
I'm not a gun specialist either, but I like guns, and I know 'em and stuff and I have too much advice for my own good here. XD

If you wanted some references to compare to, look up images of Jet Injectors, they are kind of like the real world version of the hypospray from Star Trek. Although the ones I used to seeing are more bare-bones and mechanical looking, in the sense they didn't have nice moulded casings and lacked streamlining. So I guess those just give more of a functional reference than what is possible if someone wanted to make it look nice. But I think there are more around now with a polished design.
It's a bit clunky to be used by assassins, you could say it is for medical applications.. lab work.. it can be intimidating.. maybe for interrogation. I supposed there could be a more lightweight version will a smaller dose of nanites, it really doesn't take much of them, it's just so big because it acts faster and you never know what size of creature you have to deal with.
For further information of it's use see directly above.

Oh cool! You know, I've been drawing lately some concepts of automatic rifles and pistols that can fire three round bursts. But sadly, I don't have a scanner, my camera died on me, and frankly, I don't have the money to go and buy a new camera. All the money I'm earning from my job goes directlybto the rent and bills...man, wish the economy wasn't so chaotic. I wanna upload my stuff, but I can't. You know, come to think of it, one of my Islamic buddies drew a concept very similar to what you have here, only he made it so that once it pierces the skin, it automatically starts injecting. There's no trigger, and it's small enough for an assassin to conceal it. The only difference is that the tube on his is a lot longer than what you have, and you have to manually reload it with another tube once it depletes the previous one.
