Say hello to Rhogar, a brass dragonborn PC in my D&D campaign (played by my husband!). He's showing off a set of new gleaming armor affixed with some Homebrew gems. Each gemstone type is infused with a protective spell, allowing a one-hit-per-day resistance to a specific type of damage (Garnet for fire, Amber for piercing, Citrine for bludgeoning, etc). Most would only purchase one or 2 types of Guardian stones for protection, but with Rhogar, there are no half-measures.
