The character on this first edition cover is Waya, cherokee for wolf, he is important in this comic, the world of Akaria was bright and beautiful, the Sun and the moon reigned at once as one, the Sun was held up by the power of the Light Amulet which was stolen by an unknown Riffkin ( type of wolf-people) and now the world has been thrown into utter darkness, cold and evil has fallen upon the world, devouring and possessing anything in its path, will the amulet ever be held in the sacred temple to the north again?
