I've been enjoying redrawing old artwork in my spare time, since it's fairly easy to do and also super satisfying!
I love being able to portray my characters more how I really imagine them.

Ajabu was born princess and heir to the Jungle Pride under her father, the King of the region.
Her father was a handsome, carefree, and joyful lion who loved hosting grand celebrations and just celebrating life in general.
Their pride has always enjoyed wealth and abundance in the jungle, and they lived very happy, stress-free lives.

Ajabu however, was an incredibly spoiled princess, the only cub born to her parents, and her sour attitude has followed her all throughout life and into her reign as queen.
She spent most of her cub-hood bullying Kualei, the unbeknownst future king and mate to her.
While the Jungle Kingdom is a powerful and wealthy kingdom, they do not have a history of associating with other prides unless absolutely necessary.
Kualei was an adopted male unrelated to any in the pride, and therefore a worthy consort to the future queen.

The princess Ajabu despised this pairing when she first heard of it, and she has ever since.
She loathes her mate and pays him little attention, only keeping appearances of 'happiness' at official events the Pride participates in.

She never has any cubs with him, but she does end up having a cub from an affair.
