The Alabaia are a hunter species of arachnid-like sentient people. They were genetically engineered to be the best at hunting and fighting. When their containment broke millenia ago, and they started populating their island, they sorta of started to drive out the prey. The only reason they haven't gone exctinct after decimating the prey population, is because the local AI of the small island, Curious Habitat Analyzer, still has a working lab where they clone and breed more prey animals for the Alabaia population. Because of this, the Alabaia has started a cult, believing this AI to be their god.

They are filled with urticating hairs, giving them this furry appearence, as well as three pairs of arms. The middle arm tho is too small and clawless to be useful for them, so it's only used to grab during mating. Because of this, paired with their zeal, it is considered indecent exposure to have your middle arm showing in public. They also have small antennae used to sense nearby activities. On their backs they have a carapace-like shell that extends to form a sort of tail, with more urticating hair on it's end.

Their second arms also have a significant importance to their culture. Due to the advantages it gives, they consider it a "gift from god" (which is... technically true, since it was Curious Habitat Analyzer that genetically engineered them), and so they are reserved only for holy acts, like ceremonies, battles and hunting. So yeah, they have three sets of arms, but two of them they must keep covered.

Since they consider this second pair of arms a gift of their god to them, they chop those off from Alabaias they consider "heretics" and "non-believers", both as a way to brand them as well as to remove the divine gift from them, since they are "underserving".

The AI that lives on their island has both a physical shell and a virtual form, and the virtual form is the one displayed on the drawing (with the aid of a very decorated extendable screen), and that is the one that they choose to reveal to the religious leader. C.H.A. says to the other AIs that they had no choice but stablish themself as a deity, but they kinda like all of this god thing.

I'm kind of iffy about that style of clothes, but those are just some general idea drawings anyways, so might change that later. (it doesn't help that i suck at drawing clothes)
