No one gives a thought about what they use to write these days but having a good, quality fountain pen is an underrated commodity or even a luxury. An expensive example would be a Montblanc but of course there are much more affordable choices.

I believe it's the pen nib, ink and paper that work together for the best effect. Not everything is worth using vellum but it's so lovely to use - smooth surface and absorbs ink without spreading or smearing.
