Original Species: Elysian Jackalope
The Elysian Jackalope is a horned lagomorph native to the southeast part of the Elysian continent. Out of the recently presented creature, it is the closest relative to the massive and lanky Lagolanka. Scholars theorize that at least a couple hundred or even a couple thousand years ago, some jackalope had come into contact with Fey Realm energies and that is what resulted in them gradually evolving into the giraffe-like Lagolanka.
Jackalopes typically lead a solitary lifestyle, usually foraging for fresh shoots and mushrooms on the forest floor, close to the edge of the woodland. Due to their small size, they remain constantly vigilant and alert in order to hide from predators. While they do poses emphatic abilities, much like the other smaller rabbits of Elysium, their cautious nature always keeps them at a distance from new and unknown elements in their environment. They are, by far, the most skittish members of their family.
