Long a go in an underground city, the ancient builders had worshipped a beast that they called the Warden. The beast had no interest in attacking the city folk, but there had been several instances reported on how it was provoked and had either killed or eaten people. In order to keep the Warden satisfied, they had given it food so it would not turn aggressive. Years passed, and the ancient builders had disappeared, the Warden in return would rely on the glow berries in the nearby lush cave for sustenance. What seemed like centuries passed, and the lush Warden was still alone in the now decrepit city, that was until a young Evoker came upon the ruins and accidentally summoned the beast. The Evoker had named the Warden “King” both from the fact that it’s tendrils resembled a crown and because it had a whole city to itself. They both would eventually become friends, but as the young Evoker grew, she visited King less often.


wow. that was the longest backstory I’ve written in a while. anyways with that out of the way i think i’d like to share some things about the Lush Warden.
- They are inspired by bears and otters, they also have little bear tails that wag when they’re happy.
- They’re the shortest subspecies, the closest thing they’re as tall as is an iron golem.
- As King’s story states, Lush Wardens are usually docile. However, if they’re attacked by someone, they become aggressive.
- Moss will grow on parts of their body.
