"''That's strange. There was a present here for Papyrus... Did someone steal it?''
So, you guys probably know by now that if you go and kill Papyrus on a neutral run, Snowdin Town's NPCs have different dialogues. Like, very different. They will comment on Papyrus' absence and, one polar bear says something particularly interesting. He comments on how Papyrus' gift is gone from under the tree and that someone might have stolen it.
If you go into Sans' room after he gives you the key, you see a letter from Papyrus addressed to Santa. With this, it is greatly implied that it is Sans who disguises himself as Santa.
I personally think that Sans himself stole his brother's gift after his death. He stole it because he couldn't bear seeing it under the tree knowing full well that he would never open it. Instead, he keeps it close to him and mourns. You don't see Sans again until the judgement hall, where he calls you a dirty brother killer. So, yeah, this run seems almost worse than the genocide one, because you just kill Papyrus and move on :(
On another note, I'm getting the hang out of Paint Tool Sai. My drawings on it look like my traditional projects :)"
This was one of the first pieces I made using Paint Tool Sai. I didn't know all the options the tool had to offer (and I still don't tbh). I used this as practice before officially starting work on my comic. After all this time, I still like it, however.
