part of jasons backstory is that during the timewar, he got pushed into another dimension (3 guessess as to which verse it was), where he had to rebuild his tardis using the avalible tech there...luckily a race advanced enough happen to be near, and jason , with both consent and as the little thief he was, took parts of their tech into his own gallifreyan...this would lead to the creation of varishian tech, a combonation created for the varish imperium when he returned during the final days of the war.
this was a pic of jason stealing one of the zpms from the ancients city of atlantis (used atlantis cos i thought theyed have had more than 3 zpms in the city, but its never shown why there were only 3, so added my own reason..i stole them lol), dressed up as a ancient scientist (based on janus´clothing during "before i sleep", my favorite ancient ever)
