So my Fursona always had her left eye covered.
Here is the lore behind her covered eye and why it looks like the way it does.
(this lore is VERY unplanned and i need to polish it up a bit)
She was born as a normal coloured wolf. So grey/white/black fur etc. She looked like your average, every day, anthro wolf.
She was different from her pack, as she had always had a fantasy about space, and wondered how it always fascinated her.
She enjoyed looking up at the stars while her pack howled at the moon, and she saw what she thought was a shooting star, flying through the sky. But it approached earth quickly and landed in a nearby clearing by her packs cave.
Ignoring the warnings and orders from her pack leader. She ran away from the cave and went to look for whatever landed nearby. And she finds, what looks like a mini meteor.
Sitting in a curator thats about 5 feet deep, that she climbs down, looking at the meteor.
She didnt touch it or some into contact with it in any way. But as she got closer to see what it was, the top opened, and something climbed out, leaping at star and forcing its way into her mouth, down her throat. And into her stomach. Letting itself be digested like any type of normal food, and enter her system
The first thing that was affected was her eye. As it altered the eye's appearance before her physical appearance. Said eye rapidly going blind, and now having the appearance of having a galaxy trapped in her eye. Her fur coloration quickly changing after that, making her the bright pink and blue she is today.
As soon as she saw what she looked like in a nearby river. She grew out the blue fur on top of her head, to cover her altered eye. And moved away from her cave to a city to live a better life. That wouldnt cause any complications to her family due to her sudden change in colour.
Since her family lives a traditional life, such as hunting for food and living against the elements.
Now she does streaming for a living to support herself financially and allow herself to life a somewhat comfortable life.
Star was my first ever fursona. And i am very happy with how far she has come as a character.
I feel like she has grown with me and now, with the story writing skills i have, i can write out this type of lore for my characters and not be worried about someone not liking it.
Because my mindset now is "this is MY character, i can shape her however I feel like. If someone doesnt like it, that doesnt matter."
