Yeah, this one is always in high demand. Couldn’t imagine why...

An old YouTube channel was uncovered by someone by the name of ShutUpJojo that tells the tale of a cursed copy of Sonic 3 labeled as “NeedleM0use”, and the strange hauntings that the copy inhibits.

NeedleM0use’s version of Sonic was once a girl named Sarah Henderson, born on April 20th, 1943. Her life was pretty smooth for most of her life. Having found a group of three friends, a loving girlfriend, and on her way to get a college degree, it seemed like nothing was going to keep her down.

At a college party, the group got drunk, and they fought. In the aftermath, Sarah had died. Not knowing what to do, the friends threw her corpse into a lake. She was reported missing on November 24th, 1963.

Sarah’s soul would awake in a blank void, haunted by the memory of her own death. Her own mind corrupted by her pain and hatred for her former friends, she’d eventually meet someone who could help her get her vengeance someday.

At some point in time, SEGA would eventually build one of their buildings on the lake where she died, causing Sarah’s soul to become melded with the data of their mascot, “Sonic the Hedgehog”. This, alongside her powers granted by a certain someone, allowed to send an unfinished disc that she’s inside of to others.

Given a vessel to work with, Sarah would pretend to seek reconciliation, only to brutally kill her former friends in cold blood. Trapping them inside, she intends to “play” with them forever

But the fun has just begun

NeedleM0use typically manifests as a corrupted version of Sonic the Hedgehog with some key differences. Her quills are now purple and droop down, and her skin is now pale, with a pronounced snout. Unlike Sonic, NeedleM0use’s eyes are essentially just small slits with red pupils. NeedleM0use’s mouth seems disconnected from her actual body, and red lines are used to indicate “teeth”. NeedleM0use tends to be shaded very little, if at all.

When angered, the top part of NeedleM0use’s face tends to get covered by a layer of black, and her eyes and teeth become much more detailed. NeedleM0use also gains heavy shading.

Vengeful, tyrannical, and filled to the brim with malice, NeedleM0use holds animosity towards her former friends, but has since branched out her hatred towards anyone who tampers with her disc. She’s a bit of a control freak, rather staying in an empty world where she’s in control than moving on, at least at first. Her primary trait is her sadism, killing and torturing her former friends after what they did to her.

Do note that she was driven mad by replaying her own death on loop for 30 years before being manipulated, so how much of her is still there is up for debate.

Also note that despite how insane and deluded she is in the present day, she still retains some humanity in her. She still shows love for her former girlfriend, Lily King. She also seems to occasionally relapse into moments of lucidity and remorse.

NeedleM0use can transfer her soul from disc to disc, and corrupted it into her world. In it, she’s in control. Basically anything you think she can do, she can.

She also has some cool fighting skills or something.

IDK how much of it is her and how much of it is... someone else’s doing.

She seems to know two other corruptions known as Sonic.RAW and EXE.

Sarah is Asian, I think. She’s also gay, which is kind of obvious considering I just told you she had a (ex?) girlfriend a few sentences ago.

Apparently she’s based off of renders of Sonic ‘06 or something.

She likes to study history.

Her favorite song is “Daisy Bell”. Kinda sweet considering it’s a love song.

She has no knowledge of SEGA or Sonic as a whole, having died before they were even a thing.

She’s weightless.

She’s a bit dense sometimes, and falls for other’s facades sometimes.
