Having Klaire as a roommate in the apartments is not a bad deal for Kevin. Sure things can break like tables, chairs, walls and other stuff sometimes. Though she dose pay her rent and her magic helps with keeping the place in good shape and fixed. She has her own large room where she sleeps and games when she wants. Having her around also allows Kevin to know his place is safe as she makes a pretty good guard there to as not just her magic can knock someone out with ease. Still this is a nice daily life image of the two friends as she’s heavily into a game and Kevin is getting her some snacks to enjoy. He’s a good friend to her and she’s a great friend to him. I mean he made sure to get her a chair that has been so reinforced you could shoot it out of a cannon and it would go threw a building or three and be fine.
