The Lagolope is a highly derived relative of the Elysian Brush Bunny. With the absence of typical antelopes and gazelles on Elysium, this creature has evolved in such a way as to fulfill the same ecological niche in the southern parts of the continent. Due to its comparably smaller size, the Lagalope makes use of resources that don't put it in direct competition with the Gallop Boars and Tappirunners which it shares the ecosystem with.
Based on preliminary observations, it seems to share the emphatic abilities of its smaller cousin, the Brush Bunny; it can be equally as inquisitive as it. When it senses a threat nearby, the Lagolope relies fully on its extraordinary speed and agility to escape most foes. Outside of wyverns and dedicated ambush predators, few animals are capable of catching this fleet-footed herbivore.
