Ella speaks to Dotty, but there is nothing but silence. Why is everything so quiet? "Huh?" Dotty says. Then by slowly spelling it out with her mouth, Ella says "b-l-e-e-d-i-n-g." Then it hit her, Dotty realized that she has momentarily gone deaf. She felt her ears, they were bleeding. Only one thought came into her head in that moment... "Shit." Then becoming aware of the situation, she immediately was desperate for help (seeing how she came to the shooting range by herself.) She asks Ella if she can take her to the hospital, to which Ella nods and places her hand over on Dotty's back, reassuring her that its going to be okay and that she was going to help her.
