First werecat Tomoe version that I'm actually satisfied with!
It's been a pain to try drawing cool badass but still natural looking werewolves, especially since I have very little experience with anthro. Well, it's been double the pain trying to do a werecat version of that. Somehow the same things that look good with werewolves just don't apply to felines, and I guess it makes sense. I wanted for werecats to be clearly larger than their canine counterparts, truly massive in size, and have their own unique physique that would set the two species apart. I didn't want just another werewolf race with a cat head. But no matter how hard I tried, I always ended up with either a strange squished-looking creature that had little to no resemblance with cats, or a plain gorilla XD
Anyway, this time I felt bold and looked through some references. This is the result, and it looks so much better than my previous attempts! The curved stance does a lot, now they finally look like they're big and they can support that weight instead of falling over on their nose lol. + big clawy feline paws! Both me and
tomoefuchs agreed that this is the best version of a Thirian werecat, at least so far :)
