This reminds me of one interpretation I have of Slenderman

The Slenderman approaches his victim, tentacles of Darkness sprouting from his back. They quickly strike, wrapping around the victim's arms and legs like shackles; unbreakable darkness seemingly made solid. a couple more would briefly caress the victim, tenderly, almost like a lover, before violently plunging themselves deep within, like hungry leeches starving for sustenance, and forcibly rip the very Soul from the victim's body, leaving behind a limp, ragdoll empty shell as a glowing blue light - their Soul - is brought back to the Slenderman to be consumed...

That sounds pretty cool ^^
