After getting art of my mega goddess Loona, I decided I wanted to be a little self indulgent and create my own little AU based around the idea. Obviously an overlord of hell needs assistants, and so these goblins were created. Each one named after a chess piece because Loona is neither original or clever and didn't really feel like spending a lot of time on it. Each member of her crew has a specific job in her circle, as well as their own backstories.
Rook is a Labradore Retriever hellhound, so obviously he's super friendly and, as the image says, way too nice to be in hell. Anyone who spends any amount of time around him questions why he's there in the first place, and it often leads to them being wary of him, assuming that his sunny exterior is just a front he's wearing to hide who he really is... but no, he's just really nice. Rook died in a car accident very recently, and is very new to hell as a result. Rook is also short for Rookie, and he works behind the bar that Loona uses as a front for her business, and is also in charge of managing all of her other minions (called 'pawns'). Its a lot easier to take orders from an upper manager who's really nice than one that's shouting at you constantly.
Bishop is a Husky hellhound, so she's very dramatic and emotional. She has one hell of a mean streak and loves lording the power that her position gives her over others. Her job is to run the production side of Loona's gang, making powerful growth drugs that they sell to horny demons all across hell to pump themselves even bigger, and she loves using her own product.
Death wise, Bishop was part of a cult during the 1970s and took her own life during a suicide pact that was supposed to send her to paradise. She instead woke up in hell and has been pissed about it ever since. But after meeting Loona, she's dedicated herself to worshipping her goddess of lust and size any way she can.
King is a shiba-wolf hellhound and is the dad of the group. He acts cold and disinterested to the problems of the others, but will always chime in with advice if he can, considering he's the oldest out of all of them. King acts as the group's accountant, and all the money that they make from the bar and from their goods flow through him. He's had a lot of practice keeping the books straight, as before his death he was a member of the mafia at the height of the 1940s. He also knows better than to fudge the books, as the one time he tried was his last. He was found and given a pair of cenemt shoes in return for his betrayal.
Knight is the final member and probably the one I'm the least satisfied with. She's boisterous and cheerful, loves to drink, but at the flip of a switch can go full on attack mode. If you've seen the she-rah reboot, I'd compare her to scorpia. She acts as the group's muscle and main enforcer, ensuring that no other overlords mess with them and keeping their interests safe. Knight was a female MMA fighter during the mid 2000s and died due to foul play during one of her matches.
