This is a cherished piece. I kind of consider it my current masterpiece. I ADORE turtles. I actually had a moment in Hawaii when I was ten (and didn't know it is not only illegal to touch turtles, but bad for them: I reached out and touched it underwater: IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING BRUSHES WITH NATURE IN MY WHOLE LIFE! <3
I feel bad, but have no regrets. I just didn't know better. XD)
I did a lot of research and practice work to make this come together. Arguably, this is 24 years of work.
I plan on making a few more like this one. But have been dealing with an art block since March, back when I MADE it.
