Lay & Leather ''The White Caverns'' [Paint 3D] vV
I wanted to do one of those Lay & Leather bat co-op pictures again, since I got some inspiration for an adventurous place we could hang out in and explore!
So, this picture I made to show the two of us exploring a gorgeous ice cavern, while the strong sunlight breaks through the opening on the right and illuminates a giant part of the place. But, with us being Long-Eared Bats, we don't need that much light in order to get us through the cold and claustrophobic mazes -- bats have the ability to squeak and capture the air vibrations they cause -- which then bounce off any walls in the area -- with their ears, so they'll know where the boundary is located. Leather and I use this technique too, and to my surprise -- but not Leather's, because he was born a Long-Eared Bat -- it actually works! I am quite stunned because of this, and I start using it to my advantage as well. Even though we don't ~need~ the light that shines through the entrance of the cave and through any small crevices present in this place -- it still is something to help us out if we do want to make good use of it. Nature is wonderful!
-- And yes, Leather does have his scar in this picture. It might be inconsistent compared to the Falling Stars pic, but I didn't ever say Leather and I wouldn't explore together AFTER he was accidentally struck by the Hunter at that castle years ago.

Thank you! It's pretty hard trying to replicate the exact character from a previous picture you've made, but I think this one paid off.
This is what I based my bat design off of -- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51430419/
And this is what Leather looks like at his best -- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50667759/

3D Paint is an application you can install on your PC.
Some PC's have it pre-installed, and mine does too!
Paint 3D is a simple art tool, and you can very easily change the color and style of your cursor, like ink pen style or paintbrush, or a thin pencil. It's really hard to explain but very simple to get a hang on once you've played around with the different options for a bit.

Oh, but I and I'm sure many other people like your art style.
And you should look at it this way -- FurAffinity's overarching theme is ''Back to Youth'' anyway, so it's not that big of a deal that your pics look like they currently do, right? It fits the theme of the fandom perfectly. You should be proud of your works! 😉
