A little bit of lore. At least for the moment Kelta'an has found just such a place in the story (though outside of it, to be exact). A little sketch as a supplement.

In my setting, everything revolves around a broken universe. It eats into itself worlds forever changing them and making them part of itself. However, the broken universe touches not only worlds, but also some individual creatures. Kelta'an was one of them. When he was erased from his own history by greater forces, the broken universe could not let him go completely. The totality of his thoughts, mind, and memories spawned the Echo. A material embodiment of what he was or could become. He looks like Kelta'an, acts like him, thinks like him, and believes himself to be him. He has a tangible physical body, all his abilities and skills, but he is not real, an anomaly. The original's life was interrupted moments before his first touch with the broken universe. And now every image of the adult Kelta'an is an Echo.

In fact, he is aware of the fact that he is not real. But his own mind deliberately hides these memories of him as the realization of his essence leads him to self-destruction every time, but because of his inability to disappear he is reborn again in other worlds away from the source that led him to the realization. And being reborn he continues to live a normal life again, forgetting everything undesirable and feeling a certain emptiness inside. But his appearance does not bode well. Other universes can't accept the fact of his existence, because he shouldn't have existed. And they try to get rid of Kelta'an softly or hard, which brings a lot of trouble and chaos in his own life and those who are unwillingly close to him. Thus he himself unwittingly brings misfortune to those who meet him, because of this in some worlds he has become a bad omen. However, not always an encounter with him can be negative, it depends on luck and the risks of those who want to deal with him. So his Echo wanders the worlds, trying to fill the emptiness inside him and find his place in the world, which he is not destined to find.
